All of my children are at-risk because of their unfortunate environment. We are an inner city school that is in financial crisis because of the closing of automobile factories and their suppliers. This really impacts my childrens' personal life and the school districts' funding. I love teaching in this district, but my job and success rate would be much higher if I had the necessary tools and materials. I am presently teaching in a second grade classroom and teaming with a wonderful third grade teacher. Together, with your help, we WILL make a difference in the lives of these children.
