My scholars attend a public elementary Title 1 school in Texas. They are smart, creative, and extremely active. Most of my students are labeled high risk, come from low income families, and are used to working with limited supplies in the classroom and at home. With that being said, they love to draw, color, paint, cut, model, and paste. They ask when art ancillary will start again and are always upset when I have to tell them that for the foreseeable future there won't be an art ancillary. If they have free time inevitably they will ask if they can have scratch paper to draw.
