My fifth grade math and science classrooms are a great mix of highly motivated students who come from various social, economic and multi-cultural backgrounds. I have many English language and special education students who are integrated into my classrooms. Our middle school is centered on S.T.E.A.M. and uses project-based learning in grades 5-8. I love planning lessons that are engaging and "hands-on." Students need to be social and work with others.
