I am the lucky teacher of motivated 2nd graders. They come from a high-need community that does not always offer them engaging learning opportunities outside of school. All of my students will greatly benefit from as many hands on learning experiences as possible. They also need culturally relevant reading materials, which will inspire them to become life long readers and learners. Their enthusiasm and excitement is inspirational!
