My students are unique individuals that have many things to offer to each other. They are funny, creative, artistic, helpful, and thoughtful children that are eager to learn and soak up any and all information. They work together in cooperative groups and love to help others when they are struggling. They enjoy listening to stories, poems, and reciting educational songs and rhymes. They love reading independently and with a partner. They enjoy playing math games and using the manipulatives to learn. They love to laugh, play, write, draw, and create projects for their families and teachers. They are proud of their work and their accomplishments. My school is in a low economic neighborhood. The school does not offer all the supplies needed for the students or the teachers. The teachers provide many of the materials needed for their students to help them strive and learn to their best abilities.
