My students are special education students, with learning disabilities. My school is in a lower economic urban district, where many of the students are english language learners. They are not privy to much technology, many of them don't even have computers at home. Many of them are 8th grade students reading way below grade level, and they struggle with both the language and the comprehension. Technology helps them to deal with some of their disabilities by making it easier to access information.
