Our students are growing up surrounded with technology, but we are lacking the resources in the classroom. They get upset when it is not their time, during centers, to use the desktop computers. They love it when it is our time in the school computer lab, and everyone can get on the computers. It is important to increase our time using technology, so my students can excel at the second grade standards. Increasing engagement during reading and math centers is our goal. Also, students will spend more time building their reading fluency using Smarty Ants, and basic math facts using skoolbo.
