I am requesting stability balls for my classroom as an alternative to traditional classroom seating. Continuous movement is very important in the classroom. These stability balls will allow for active sitting while improving posture, attention and blood flow. Sitting still for long periods of time is challenging for some students. I think the stability balls will allow them to get the wiggles out, while strengthening their growing muscles. I have seating that is needed for up to 35 students. My plan is to start with a few of these stability balls to see if it improves learning and attention in my classroom.
