My school consists of a mixture of socioeconomically and ethnically diverse students. Many of my students are Title I and can't afford to purchase books on their own. They love to read and really enjoyed our last novel, "Island of the Blue Dolphins." Our school has grown tremendously over the past year and we don't have enough novels for the expanded enrollment of 4th graders.
