This is a great time of year for my students. The students are independent readers and are ready for the challenge of working and discussing books with their peers. So whats the problem? No books. My elementary school has been recognized by TEA as Title I, Part A State Distinguished Schools for 2011-2012. But, despite all the hard work and recognition we received, my students would like to have the same opportunities as other school children. That is to be able to have multiple copies of books to read for "Book Clubs."

About my class
