Our elementary school in recent years has experienced vast growth. While our physical classroom space has stayed the same, larger class sizes have become the norm. With such diverse needs in mathematics among my 3rd graders, helping them learn their math facts (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division) can be challenging, particularly for students who struggle in math. The "Math Minute Electronic Flashcards" provides a fun and independent way for students to study their math facts according to their skill and ability. In addition, limited classroom space makes the storage of paper flashcards for each student difficult and because of the cheap nature of the flashcards, they don't last from year to year. With 34 students, having just 10 Math Minute devices would be motivating to students and ideal for the teacher!
