My students are 10th - 12th graders in an online credit recovery classroom. Our district is a Title I school in a high-poverty, rural area in Ohio with over 45% of our student body classified as economically disadvantaged. Our K-12 student enrollment is roughly 750 and is housed in a single K-12 building. My students are a diverse group with varying ability levels and backgrounds. The two things they all have in common is that they have not been successful in the traditional classroom and they are eager to complete their graduation requirements.
