My students come from all over the world. We have over 30 different languages spoken at my elementary, some of whom are first year immigrants students. We are 6% away from qualifying for Title I funds. Unfortunately, many of the parents in our district will not admit that they do need assistance financially. In turn, we often do not receive the funds to help us facilitate our students and their unique needs.
