These iPads would be used at the center time and during Map Assessments within the classroom. Because my students are from a poverty-stricken area, their access to technology is very limited. Many students have no access to computers or IPads at home. Yet these students are assessed using technology. This puts them at an disadvantage to the rest of the nation. These iPads will benefit my students in providing learning opportunities in math and language arts, as well as knowledge of how to use an iPad . This would provide opportunities to increase Map Assessment Scores and help them compete with the rest of the nation. Please consider providing IPads for my students.
