My school is located in a city on the east coast. I teach Art to students in grades kindergarten through eight. Many of my students are economically disadvantaged and art is a way for them to create, grow, and build self esteem. My plan is to infuse a love of learning through art. Teaching in the city brings with it many challenges, one being financial barriers. Resources are limited and this can hinder what I am able to accomplish. My students are amazing. They deserve only the best and everyday, I strive to give that to them.
