Kindergarten is a fun interactive grade! Students get to read, write, draw, cut, and paste. They are learning to read books and words, write their names and sentences, to cut on lines and to glue within the lines. They will learn to count, tell greater and less than, to add and subtract. This year each child will need to have their own school supplies that only they will use. We use pencils, crayons, scissors, paper, and glue daily in Kindergarten. The students use their dry erase board and markers all throughout the school day. There will be no sharing of materials this year. Supplying my students with individual supplies will help them to be successful. Some of the materials will stay in their seat sacks at school and some will go home for work done there. The children will be so excited to color exact skin colors with the Colors of the World crayons!
