My classroom consists of 23 fifth grade urban students. 93% of the students at our school qualify to receive free lunch and breakfast. Our city has suffered financial hardships and is forced to consider bankruptcy making it very difficult to order any supplies aside from some basic essentials. My students have made a lot of progress this year! Almost everyone has increased their reading level and close to half are currently reading at grade level. I hope to keep them inspired and reading in 2013 with some great non-fiction options. I'd like to order TIME for KIds for the remainder of the school year. I'd also like to purchase a classroom license for RAZ Kids, an online reading program. Please consider donating to these two projects!
