Students can use these magazines at home or at school. Students can read science news articles, watch related videos and do activities and assignments that push them to think. The digital assignments and activities focus on understanding evidence to support claims, something that is much needed to develop critical thinking. The news articles are current and related to tween and teen interests, motivating students to engage in learning. In the past, we have used these magazines to spur debates and develop writing skills. The magazines also provide instructions for DIY experiments and activities related to the reading. The funding for these magazines is gone and I really want to keep using them.
