I am a special educator. This simply means that I individualize my instruction and use specialized instructional strategies in my classroom. I work with students who experience a variety of disabilities including learning disabilities, emotional disturbance, health impairments, hard of hearing, or other disabilities. I love my job and strive everyday to provide my students with life long strategies that they can use everyday to be successful. I strive to provide strategies that my students can use to be successful in and out of the classroom. I aim to provide students tools that will empower students to knock down so many of their own roadblocks that they have to face everyday. While special education is a challenge, it is very rewarding.
