My students are a wonderful group of First graders. Many of them are struggling readers who are reading below grade level. They are very enthusiastic, full of energy, and are eager to learn. Many of the students are on the free and reduced lunch program. With the exciting and enriching literature these books provide, students will be excited to listen and read these stories. This project will not only help students build reading fluency skills, but it will bring them the joy of reading. A joy that many of them unfortunately don't have the opportunity to experience at home. I can't wait to see how thrilled they will be if I am able to provide them with these books!
