Our future engineers are diverse and are identified as economically-disadvantaged. Many speak English as their second language and/or the first to have an opportunity to go to college. Our school has a high Academic Performance Index but can improve on meeting the needs of Basic and Far Below Basic learners. Resources are limited and our STEM-based class serves to provide opportunities for science enrichment, participation in competitions, and scholarships.
