My students are inner-city students attending public school. Half of my class is made up of English language learners. My class is made up of both general education and special education students. I teach one student who is profoundly deaf and several who are or have been homeless. Several students have parents who are or have been incarcerated they are very inquisitive and love learning. My class is also oversubscribed (above the limit of 25 students). These students would greatly benefit from technology in the classroom in order to help bridge gaps in their learning caused by their circumstances.
