The materials that I am asking for in my classroom will provide my students with the opportunities to learn hands-on. They will not just have to sit and read a book or watch a video on magnets, but get to explore and "play" with real magnets. It will help their brains to understand and make better sense of the concept. The other hands-on, building tools that I am asking for will also help my students to learn how to problem-solve, work with other children, think outside of the box, and have fun while doing so. Having fluorescent colored paper for projects, crafts, and writing is something that immediately motivates six-year-olds. They get immediately excited when they are given the opportunity to have colorful paper and use SMELLY MARKERS!! To them, that is like hitting the jackpot and helps them to become more engaged without getting bored or distracted. Your help would be greatly appreciated by my class and me.
