By having this project fulfilled, I will have a more robust collection of technology in which to guide and teach my learners in the virtual environment. I will be able to move more freely, and teach in a way that is more consistent with the way I teach when we are in-person. This will offer a sense of comfort and normalcy for my virtual learners. I will also be able to record my lessons to provide the same learning experience to students who are unable to attend the live lesson, as well as, give students an opportunity to revisit a lesson if necessary. These donations will not only help to improve our virtual classroom environment, but will also help my students remain actively engaged in their learning while they are with me. The traditional school environment cannot be fully replicated online; however, a solid virtual learning environment can be created with the right technology. I want to accomplish all of this while building positive relationships with my students. By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase the academic achievement of my students. A large monitor, rotating stand, and iPad will support this purpose. The large monitor will allow me to see each of my students clearly as I teach. I can address their needs better if I can see them better when teaching virtually. The rotating stand will allow me to swivel my computer screen to the different angles of my teaching space, so students can focus their attention on what they need to see during virtual lessons. The iPad/ tripod will be set up to record my lessons for my students, and I can use iMovie to edit and publish lessons online.
