Earlier this month, our school, along with our entire town, was devastated by an EF3 tornado. With the phenomenal intervention of a team of volunteers called God's Pit Crew, we now have a nice temporary school, which was created in six days within an empty warehouse building outside of our town. The students are happy to be back in class with their friends, and they felt like celebrities when news crews from around the state arrived to cover the story of our school, nicknamed "The Miracle on the Hill". They would like to receive Time For Kids magazine...and who knows-they might just be featured in it one day!

About my class
