Our school is in a small rural community in Southern Indiana. Students in FACS classes are in grades 7-12, energetic, rambunctious, and playful. We are a semi-poverty stricken area with loving yet financially struggling families. Students are allowed to take home what they make/bake in classes, which in some instances might become the evening meal. The students in afternoon sporting events will often take snacks to their teammates. Young people are always hungry, enjoy learning to become more independent and serve as mentors to each other.

About my class
