My students are curious and excited kindergarteners who have a love for school and learning. I want to make their experiences positive in order to boost their self-esteem and confidence in the skills that will be so critical in their continued education. I teach at a Title 1, K-8 school in Baltimore City where poverty is high but so are the expectations. My students face daily challenges outside of school but come to school each and everyday with a smile and enthusiasm to learn!
