I have a truly amazing group of students and teachers that I work with this year. What I admire most about my students is their will and determination to succeed. I go back to the first day of school, all of the chaos of the no more summer vacation, new friends, a new building, getting back into the swing of school. I could go on and on with the struggles, but I think what is more important is where they started on that first day and what they have already achieved. My struggling readers are improving daily in their reading skills and slowly finding their love of reading. I could not be more proud of my students and their dedication to learning. Even with all of the challenges, they are forging ahead and truly trying to be the best students they can be.
