The school I work at is classified as a low income public school. I love waking up everyday and going to work to see the faces of my 5 year olds and how they love to tell me all about their adventures. I, in return, tell them about adventures through reading books. They LOVE being read to but unfortunately, as this is a bilingual class, finding Spanish books to read to them in their native language is hard! Because we are a low income school and our bilingual program isn't huge, our library is very limited in Spanish books. I have had to translate English books while I read to the students and it has been a hard task. I'm hoping that the books I'm requesting will be fulfilled so my students' learning will be enhanced.
