We are a unique New York school. In a highly segregated suburban locale, our school is diverse both racially and economically. Our student body knows this, understands this, and appreciates this. This K-2 building is a center for special education and preschool in the district. There are also many ESL students. Some of our students come from homes where basics like electricity are not guaranteed. We also have homeless students and some students in group homes. These are the students that most need our library and all that we offer.
