My classroom will consist of middle school students with special needs. This is a brand new class in a local school. The classroom contains school allocated furniture; so we need to build our repertoire of materials to aid in instruction. We are planning for art, music, movement and academic activities that are fun and engaging. My students will be able to utilize these materials while at school. The activities that will accompany these materials will help my students stay engaged and focused throughout the day, while also allowing creativity, focus and mindfulness to flow.
