In the past, we have used ordinary scissors to cut cardboard for art and STEM projects. Students get frustrated quickly with the difficulty of cutting their pieces. Numerous times we have had accidents with the scissors which have caused injuries. For those reasons, I have hesitated to do projects involving cardboard. Canary cardboard scissors would enable my students to cut their cardboard pieces easily and safely. We would be able to recycle many boxes if we had a safer more efficient way to do so. There are so many great ideas for art and STEM projects involving cardboard. We can't wait to try them out!
