I am the teacher-librarian at a Title One school in Idaho that serves a student body of approximately 1300, 9th through 12th grade. We're a rural district that serves a high-poverty student population; eighty-five percent of our students receive free or reduced lunch because of their economic status. My aspiration is to turn kids on to reading and to provide a climate for their success that begins with a turn of the page from just the right book.
