My students attend a diverse Title I middle school in an urban school district. The students receive special education services for more than 50% of the day which includes special day class services for math and science. Their disabilities range from students who are non-verbal with cerebral palsy to verbal students with ADHD. We are a classroom of diverse learners who require a lot of differentiation and scaffolding in order to access the curriculum. We work hard as a classroom to continuously improve both our academic and social emotional skills, which are critical to our personal development
