Our classroom is full of students with different talents, gifts, interests and concerns. We all wonder about different things: "Who is responsible for creating the first democracy?" "What makes the world go around?" "Where is the best place to travel?" "When did the first man orbit Earth?" And some of us just wonder... "Why?" No matter the question, we seek out the answer using progressive and innovative methods in our classroom. We do this in a school that is always attempting to keep up with literature, state policies, and new technologies with limited funds. We do this in a community that is dedicated to its youth, but struggles in these trying economic times. We do this in a class that supports each other and respects our motto, "Non Scholae, Sed Vitae: We learn not for school, but for life!"
