My students are enthusiastic and excited about learning new facts and information. They are all interested in the world around them and figuring out why and how things work. The school in which I teach is part of a strong community that puts the education and success of our students as a top priority. As a looping teacher, I have the same group of students for both first and second grade so I get to know them so well as little learners. I want to do all I can as their teacher to build on the knowledge that they have as well as encourage them to read a wide variety of materials that will help them grow as a learner.
