We are a Title I school in Stamford, CT located downtown and have been growing annually with 92 English Language learners this year. We have a limited budget for books, so the headphones would take a big chunk of our funds. We need to get our students excited about books, reading and learning at a very young age. Our focus is on non-fiction books this year, but we are able to have the children use reading, phonics and spellings apps on the iPads. Our students population is from the local community, along with students selected by lottery. Over 50 percent of our students are eligible for free and reduced lunch.
