This year I have a great group of first graders. They are very outgoing and extremely smart and hard working. Their favorite part of the day is listening to me read them Junie B Jones books. Literacy is a big part of our day and is a big focus in our school. We are a charter school on the south side of Chicago that has been around for over seven years. I have very active parents within my room and for that I am very grateful. I truly love my school and my class. I have a passion for teaching that will never go away.
