My students are fantastic individuals growing up in an urban public school in New York. They are very energetic and have a lot to offer one another and the world. They qualify for government funding both at home and at school. My students need a lot of attention given the real concerns with classroom size and teachers. The classroom consists of students with special needs ranging from emotional disturbance to hearing impairment. The different learning styles of the students in my classroom need to be met in order to meet their needs not only academically but emotionally and behaviorally.
