Our students are a hard working group of young talent that need the world brought to them in a way that promotes excitement and builds curiosity about science. Our community is agricultural based and many of our students live an hour or more away from museums, libraries, colleges, and other opportunities that they don't get to enjoy living in a rural community. Our school demographic is primarily Hispanic with 99% Spanish speaking homes. Our school provides our students with a great education, newly renovated facilities, and passionate teachers. However, budget woes and tighter budget restrictions have impacted science funding for projects.
