In first grade using technology for any lesson is exciting and engaging for me, and my students. I am always trying to give my students opportunities for visual learning. With only an overhead projector, my students have been unable to explore websites and create documents as we all work together on whole group projects. Internet access allows us to learn about and participate in real world projects, and keeps us aligned with current technology. A laptop in conjunction with a projector would allow us to work to our individual potential and would make every seat in the classroom a front row seat.
