My classroom is filled with students with various disabilities and serious cognitive delays. They are unique because they require great amounts of sensory input throughout the day in order to be successful in their learning. Students who take frequent breaks throughout the day to move and manipulate objects that fulfill their sensory needs are more able to focus on learning and progress more quickly. These sensory items will make that more possible! The variety of items I have selected will meet an array of my students' needs, and progress will come naturally.
