How would you like to try to learn how to play an instrument while reading the music off of a chair or the floor? Not exactly the best situation to learn in or even a very comfortable position to be in. I am a middle school music teacher in a high needs public school district in New York State. My students come from all walks of life and many of them don't always have the best situation at home. I always want to give my students everything that they need to be successful at whatever they are doing in order for them to be performing at their best abilities.
