I teach two fourth grade math classes divided by ability in an urban school district. Many students have behavior problems that disrupt teacher instruction and would benefit from an interactive way of teaching. The classroom is a diverse mix of students and they learn in many different ways. Some are visual learners, others are tactile or hands-on, and some react well to a reward system. They like to work with a partner or in a small group when given the opportunity.

About my class
