My students range from Kindergarten to 6th graders. They are diverse enthusiastic learners. Some are considered gifted and others challenged. But, in my class their dancers. I teach all grade levels in a poverty stricken area in California. Each one looks forward to the time to create different types of dance movement. They enjoy collaborating with others and creating dance on their own. For many of them they would not be able to take dance classes outside of school because it would be a financial strain on their families. Having dance during school enhances what they learn in their classroom.
