I teach students with varying abilities in a resource room (special education) in a suburban school about 30 miles outside of Detroit. Almost half the students in our building receive free, or reduced, breakfast and lunch. We are in what is called a Title One building. This year I will have more students at a lower elementary level than I have ever had. I do not limit my love and support to the students on my caseload; I do whatever it takes to help ANY child in ANY way I can so students have the opportunity to be successful. I absolutely love my job!
