Have you ever been the new kid on the block? You know how it feels when you don't really know anyone that well and it seems like an imposition to keep asking for things? This is my first year in a different school and I'm that new kid on the block. Don't get me wrong, everyone has been extremely helpful and kind but there is only so much they can provide. I teach in an inner city public school. My Kindergarten is full of vibrant and eager to learn students in spite of the fact that they come from low income households. I want to provide the very best classroom, with the very best materials for my very best students.
