The primary goal of physical education is to provide students with diverse experiences in activities that they will adopt into a lifetime of engagement. Many students In the early teenage years are attempting to discover what they are good at, so various and positive experiences give them a confident self-identity they are able to build upon as they become adults. Many students find this confidence during physical activity as an expression of who they are, and what they envision their life will be. Providing my students pickleball nets is more than giving them something to play with. Providing them this resource gives them potential confidence and encourages self-expression for a lifetime of physical, mental, and emotional wellness.
