My fourth grade students are sponges who absorb the lessons taught. They are constantly questioning and excited to learn. My students do not have the necessary math tools needed to help them excel in math. Imagine how much more these students could achieve given the proper tools! I want to be able to give my students every opportunity to learn as every young mathematician should. Our nation is at a cross roads. Students are unable to get the materials needed to help them succeed and achieve their educational goals. Our students need to be challenged and pushed to succeed at much higher levels, especially in the area of math. This is extremely difficult with limited, outdated and broken materials.
