This project would allow my students the opportunity to have access to technology that they currently do not get a chance to use. Most of my students come from lower income households and often do not have access to a computer to use at home. We will be able to give my students the chance to use many different educational apps (from Reading, Math, Science, Social Studies, and any other important subjects). They will also have the chance to use many different games and books that are available to our district, which my students currently cannot use because my class does not have the technology necessary. The ability to broaden their learning environment by allowing them to learn while having fun playing educational apps and games would help them retain much more throughout the year. I can also help individualize my students learning so they can be working on things that will help them on their level, helping to push them as far as they need to go. I am excited to have this opportunity to give my students an extra early start on their technology education.
